Amedspor flag hung on Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge

Following a request from the Diyarbakır-based club Amedspor, which has been promoted to the Süper Lig, approval was granted by the General Directorate of Highways. The club's flag will fly on the Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge for two days.

The flag of the Diyarbakır representative Amedspor, which finished second in the TFF 1. Lig and earned promotion to the Süper Lig, was hung on the Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge today.


Following an application made by the club, the request to hang a flag on one of the bridges in Istanbul was approved. In the letter from the General Directorate of Highways, it was stated that hanging the flag on the Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge to celebrate the promotion to the Süper Lig was deemed appropriate.

It was stated that the flag would remain on the bridge for two days starting from the date determined by the Regional Directorate, and that the hanging and removal operations would be carried out in coordination with the relevant institutions and by taking the necessary traffic safety measures.
