Amputee National Team becomes European champion for the 3rd consecutive time
Defeating Spain 3-0 in the final of the 2024 European Amputee Football Championship, Turkey has won the trophy for the third time in a row.

The Amputee National Football Team made history at the EURO 2024 Amputee Football Championship held in Evian-Les-Bains, France. Defeating Spain 3-0 in the final match, the crescent-star national team became European champions for the third consecutive time.
Having managed to become champions in both of the two previous European Amputee Football Championships, the crescent-star national team took the field once again for the title.
The Amputee National Football Team defeated Spain with goals from Rahmi Özcan in the 14th minute, Ömer Güleryüz in the 28th minute, and Fatih Şentürk from a penalty in the 32nd minute. With this victory, the crescent-star team secured their third consecutive championship.

President of the Turkish Physically Disabled Sports Federation Alpaslan Erkoç emphasized that our Amputee National Football Team has achieved a historic victory, stating, “This success, this victory belongs to all of Turkey. We are filled with great happiness and pride to see the fruits of the labor we have put in for years. The world is now following us in amputee football. We will continue to wave our country's flag in the international arena. Long live Turkey,” he said.
