Anadolu Efes finds its rhythm in the second half against Beşiktaş

The black-and-whites started the match quickly, proving effective in the paint especially with Zizic, and finished the first period leading 22-20.

Beşiktaş GAİN maintained its lead for a while in the second quarter and finished the first half ahead 45-37 with the scoring contribution of Anthony Brown. However, the tempo of the game changed completely in the third period. Turning turnovers into an advantage, the home team went on a 14-1 run to take the lead and dominated this section. By the end of the third quarter, the score had turned in favor of Anadolu Efes at 66-63.

In the final period, the blue-and-whites managed to widen the gap, particularly with their high performance under the basket. As the score difference reached double digits with Erkan Yılmaz's dunk, Beşiktaş GAİN's efforts in the remaining minutes did not change the outcome, and Anadolu Efes left the court with an 89-80 victory. With this result, Efes recorded its 14th win in the league, while Beşiktaş GAİN suffered its fourth defeat of the season.

Among those following the match from the stands was former Beşiktaş footballer Emirhan İlkhan, who continues his career at the Italian team Torino, and he showed his support for the black-and-white team.

The Sinan Erdem Sports Hall, where the match was played, hosted not only sports this week but also an important organization for social responsibility. Within the scope of the "Zero Waste in Sports" project carried out in cooperation with the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change and the Turkish Basketball Federation, fans came to the match with plush toys.
