Ankaragücü advances with two penalties in extra time!

MKE Ankaragücü and Çaykur Rizespor faced off in the 5th round of the Ziraat Turkish Cup. MKE Ankaragücü won the match at Eryaman Stadium with a score of 3-1.

The goals that brought victory to the capital city team were scored by Ali Kaan Güneren in the 58th minute, Tolga Ciğerci from a penalty in the 90+7th minute, and Olimpiu Morutan, also from a penalty, in the 90+11th minute. Rizespor's only goal came from Mithat Pala in the 83rd minute.

With this victory, Ankaragücü advanced to the round of 16 in the Ziraat Turkish Cup. Rizespor has been eliminated from the Turkish Cup.
