Aral Şimşir in Trabzon
Trabzonspor has brought Aral Şimşir, whom they transferred from Danish Superliga side Midtjylland, to Trabzon.

National player Aral Şimşir, with whom Trabzonspor has reached an agreement in principle, arrived in Trabzon by private jet at around 19:30. The young footballer, who was welcomed with enthusiasm by club officials and a large number of fans at Trabzon Airport, greeted the supporters waiting for him.
"Trabzonspor was not a difficult choice for me"
Speaking to members of the press at the airport, Aral Şimşir stated that he was very happy to be in Trabzon and said, "I worked very hard to get here. I am also very happy to be at Trabzonspor. Trabzonspor is a very big club. It was not a difficult choice for me. They have been wanting and following me for a long time. I played a match here in Trabzon with the youth team four years ago. We won that match, and today I am here again."
"I will do my best to help Onuachu score goals"
Expressing that his goal is to contribute to Trabzonspor in the best way possible, the 24-year-old footballer said, "My first goal is to represent Trabzonspor in the best way. I want to score goals, provide assists, and contribute to my team. Likewise, I aim to represent my country in the best way in the national team. I am used to playing as a number 10 and on the left wing. I like playing in these positions. Onana and Savic have played for big teams. I will do everything in my power to help Onuachu score goals."
"I want to make our fans happy"
Thanking the Trabzonspor fans, Aral Şimşir said, "I would like to thank our fans who came to the airport to welcome me. I will do my best for them. I want to make them happy."
Led the fans in a chant
After his statements, Aral Şimşir posed for the press wearing the new season Trabzonspor jersey. The young footballer, who was welcomed with flowers by the fans, led the supporters in a traditional chant before getting into the vehicle waiting for him and leaving the airport.
Aral Şimşir, who will undergo medical examinations, is expected to sign the contract that will tie him to Trabzonspor once the official contract procedures are completed.
