National team players Arda Güler and Mert Müldür will be up for a vote for the "best goal of the first group matches" at the 2024 European Championship (EURO 2024).
In the voting launched on UEFA's website, Arda Güler and Mert Müldür, who found the back of the net in the match against Georgia which the Crescent-Stars won 3-1, were nominated in the "best goal of the first group matches" category.
Nicolae Stanciu, who scored the first goal for Romania in their 3-0 victory over Ukraine, and Nicolo Barella, who scored the winning goal for Italy in their 2-1 victory over Albania, were also among the nominees.
