Shakhtar Donetsk, one of Ukraine's historic clubs, has appointed Arda Turan as its head coach. In a statement released by the club, it was announced that a contract has been signed with the 38-year-old Turan that will run until the summer of 2027. Arda Turan will serve as the 39th head coach in Shakhtar Donetsk's history.
Following Turan's start in his new role, a change he made to his social media account also became a topic of discussion. Turan, who had kept the phrase "Only Galatasaray" in his Instagram biography for many years, removed it and replaced it with the text "Arda Turan's official account | Shakhtar Manager".
