Armand Duplantis breaks world record in pole vault!
Olympic champion Swedish athlete Armand Duplantis has improved his own world record in the men's pole vault.

Competing in the first leg of the Diamond League held in Xiamen, China, Duplantis broke the world record with a jump of 6.24 meters.
Duplantis, one of the most talented athletes in the history of pole vaulting, has now improved the outdoor world record for the 8th time, a record he took over from Frenchman Renaud Lavillenie in February 2020 and had held at 6.23 meters since September 2023.
