Atalanta are the UEFA Europa League champions
In the UEFA Europa League final, Italian side Atalanta defeated German representatives Bayer Leverkusen 3-0 to win the trophy for the first time.

The excitement of the final in the UEFA Europa League, the second-tier club competition in European football, took place at the Dublin Arena in Dublin, the capital of Ireland. Atalanta and Bayer Leverkusen faced off to claim the trophy. Starting the match quickly, Atalanta took a 1-0 lead in the 12th minute with a goal from Ademola Lookman.
Stepping up once again in the 26th minute, Ademola Lookman doubled the lead, and the first half ended with the Italian team leading 2-0.
In the 75th minute, following a pass from Gianluca Scamacca, Ademola Lookman scored his and his team's third goal, completing his hat-trick and becoming the architect of the victory.
Atalanta defeated Bayer Leverkusen 3-0 to lift the UEFA Europa League trophy for the first time in their history.
Meanwhile, Ademola Lookman became the second player to score a hat-trick in a Europa League final, and he made history as the first African player to score 3 goals in a European final.
