Samsunspor announced that a group of fans traveling to an away game was attacked, resulting in the death of one fan and the injury of another.
Here is the statement from Samsunspor;
"We have learned with deep sorrow of the attack on our group of fans who were traveling to support our Samsunspor team.
In this tragic incident, one of our fans lost their life, and another was injured. We wish God's mercy upon our deceased fan and extend our condolences to their grieving family and our community; we wish a speedy recovery to our injured fan.
We respectfully announce to the public that we will follow the process until the end to ensure that those responsible for this heinous attack are punished in the most severe way possible."
