Barış Alper Yılmaz's goal nominated for award

Galatasaray's national football player Barış Alper Yılmaz has been nominated for the UEFA Europa League Goal of the Week award for his goal against Swedish side Elfsborg.

In the voting on the league's website, Yılmaz, who found the net in the 44th minute of the match that Galatasaray won 4-3, is competing in the "Goal of Matchday 3" category.

Other nominees in this category include Christian Eriksen, who scored for Manchester United against Fenerbahçe, Villads Nielsen from Bodø/Glimt, and Vaclav Černý from Rangers.
