Atan, in his statement after the 3-1 victory over Eyüpspor, expressed his happiness with the win and said, "It was a match where we needed to start a rebellion for ourselves."

Stating that they played a very important match, Atan said, "We needed to start a rebellion. My players played a match that suited this. We wanted to bring the positives from the Trabzonspor match we lost into this game. For the last week, I felt that fire in my players' eyes. I told them that we wanted to start a rebellion. The slogan of this match was to rebel against our current situation, especially the poor football we played away from home. After a long break, we closed the week by playing well away and winning. Now we will start preparing for the Konyaspor match, which is another rebellion and final match," he said.

Çağdaş Atan, who signaled his resignation after the 3-0 loss to Trabzonspor in the 28th week of the league before the international break, explained the process they went through afterwards as follows:

"We had no doubts about the trust we received from our president and the board. In such environments, you want to receive a vote of confidence. I wanted to leave the word to our president and our board of directors. They very clearly stated that they wanted to continue with me and that they trusted me. We have reinforced our trust in each other. I already had no doubts about this trust. However, sometimes you need to give people the right to speak. That is the place we are responsible to and have to account to. They chose to continue. I thank them. We held our second meeting with our players.

I never gave up on my players. I asked them if they had given up on me, if the trust between us had been damaged, and if the training and game quality and commitment to the system were continuing. We came out of there with a 100 percent vote of confidence and decided to continue on our path. This is a decision that is sometimes in my hands and sometimes in the management's, but in our current situation, there is the management, the technical team, and the players. We spent 2 weeks refreshing our trust in each other. This positivity was reflected on the pitch today. However, this should be our normal. We spun our wheels too much, we took hits. Regarding their end-of-season goals, Çağdaş Atan said, "We have 9 final matches ahead of us. Today we moved up from tenth to sixth place. We are aiming for 2 spots higher this season. If we can, we want to go to Europe directly, or if we can't, by finishing 5th and waiting for the Turkish Cup winner. It's not easy. We have a difficult fixture.
