Stating that they have launched an investigation into Israeli footballer Eden Karzev's social media post and will make a decision after his defense, Gümüşdağ said, "Karzev is our player. He made a post on his social media account. When we noticed this, our administrative director Murat Yaman called him in and stated that we had launched a disciplinary investigation. I gave the instruction myself. We requested his defense. In his defense, he said, 'I wanted to express myself regarding peace, not war. I am not someone who wants war; I want peace. I was misunderstood, I apologize,' and he removed the post. However, despite this, our sensitivity and that of our country on this matter is very high. It is not an acceptable situation. We will evaluate his defense and make a decision. He also gave his statement to the police and the prosecutor's office. He used the same expressions there as well."
