Belgian striker Michy Batshuayi, who has joined Galatasaray's squad, signed a 3-year contract at the Ali Sami Yen Sports Complex RAMS Park Stadium.
Batshuayi made statements to Galatasaray TV after the signing ceremony. The Belgian forward said, "Thank you very much for the welcome, I am very happy.
Galatasaray is a big club that wins championships frequently. This is very important for a player. Galatasaray has wanted me for a few years. Fate brought us together," he said.
Responding to criticisms regarding his transfer from Fenerbahçe to Galatasaray, the 30-year-old player said, "That is the beauty of football; some are pleased, some are not.
The most important thing here is that I am pleased. My family is also very pleased. I will work very hard to repay the trust Galatasaray has shown in me," he stated.

Emphasizing that the Turkish league is developing every day, Michy Batshuayi said, "I have had experience at all 3 big clubs. Galatasaray called me here, and I will do what I need to do.

I am very happy. I have spoken with some of the players. I know names like Mertens, Zaha, and Ziyech. I will get to know the others as well. I think it is very important for us to get to know each other to work under the best conditions and win matches," he stated.
After his statements, Batshuayi toured RAMS Park and the Galatasaray Stadium Museum.
