Belgian striker Michy Batshuayi, who has joined Galatasaray's squad, signed a 3-year contract at the Ali Sami Yen Sports Complex RAMS Park Stadium.

Batshuayi made statements to Galatasaray TV after the signing ceremony. The Belgian forward said, "Thank you very much for the welcome, I am very happy.

Galatasaray is a big club that wins championships frequently. This is very important for a player. Galatasaray has wanted me for a few years. Fate brought us together," he said.

Responding to criticisms regarding his transfer from Fenerbahçe to Galatasaray, the 30-year-old player said, "That is the beauty of football; some are pleased, some are not.
