Beşiktaş demands foreign referees: 'It is our most natural right for justice'

Following the Galatasaray-Fenerbahçe derby played in the 25th week of the Trendyol Super League, Beşiktaş Club has once again voiced its demand for the appointment of foreign referees. In a statement published on the club's official website, it was noted that Beşiktaş President Serdal Adalı's request for the assignment of foreign referees for derby matches has been conveyed to the Turkish Football Federation.
The statement included the phrase, "In accordance with the principle of justice, our demand for foreign referees in our derby matches is our most natural right." Beşiktaş emphasized that there are claims circulating in the sports community suggesting that no foreign referee will be appointed for the derby match they are set to play against Galatasaray in the 29th week of the Trendyol Super League.
It was also shared with the public that the Turkish Football Federation is expected to respond to this request during its board meeting to be held on Monday. Stating that they are closely following the developments in this process, Beşiktaş indicated that they will continue to keep the public informed.
