Beşiktaş has disclosed the fees paid to head coaches Fernando Santos and Rıza Çalımbay, who served on the football team this season, and announced that it will file criminal complaints against those spreading false news.

Beşiktaş has provided information regarding the tenure and compensation of head coaches Fernando Santos and Rıza Çalımbay.

In a statement released by the black-and-white club, it was stated, "We have terminated our contract with our head coach Fernando Santos.

We wish him success in his future endeavors. In accordance with the transparent management principle of our President Hasan Arat and our Board of Directors, we would like to present to the public our statement regarding the net salary and termination compensation of the 2 head coaches whose contracts were terminated during our administration.

A net payment of 865 thousand 487 Euros was made to Fernando Santos and his staff for the period they served at our club from 09.01.2024 to 14.04.2024.

"WILL BE PAID IN 5 EQUAL INSTALLMENTS"

In accordance with the contract made with Fernando Santos, the 500 thousand Euro termination compensation that must be paid to him will be paid net, with 150 thousand Euros to him and 350 thousand Euros to his technical staff, in accordance with his own request, and the payments will be made in 5 equal installments starting from the end of May 2024.

Rıza Çalımbay and his staff were paid 7 million 220 thousand TL for the period they served at our club from 10.11.2023 to 18.12.2023. We would like to inform our community that we have no other obligations outside of these, that an exemplary contract was signed to protect the interests of our Club in contract terminations, and that the contracts in question have been delivered to our Audit Committee.

Despite our warnings on the subject, criminal complaints have been filed under 'Article 107 of the Capital Markets Law' against those who make and spread intentional and false news," the statement said.
