Early exit from European competition for Beşiktaş: Defeated by Swiss side
In the second leg of the UEFA Conference League play-off round, our representative Beşiktaş faced Swiss side Lausanne at home following a 1-1 draw in the first match.

Although Beşiktaş started the match played at Tüpraş Stadium with significant pressure and created consecutive chances, it was the Swiss side that found the goal.
In the 45+1st minute, Lausanne took a 1-0 lead. Butler-Oyedeji, who moved onto a pass from Mouanga behind the defense on the right wing, entered the penalty area and sent the ball into the net with his shot: 0-1.
The first half of the match concluded with the Swiss side leading 1-0.
In the very first seconds of the second half, Beşiktaş's Felix Uduokhai received a straight red card following a challenge on Brandon Soppy, leaving his team with 10 men.
Although the Black and Whites created danger in the opponent's half in the second period, they could not find the goal they were looking for, and the match ended 1-0.
With a 2-1 aggregate victory over the two matches, Lausanne became the side to qualify for the league phase of the UEFA Conference League.
Eliminated from the Conference League following their exit from the Europa League, the Black and Whites have closed their European chapter early.
