Beşiktaş Club has issued a warning to its fans ahead of the UEFA Europa League play-off round match against Swiss side Lugano, which will be played away from home.

In a statement released by the black-and-white club, it was stated, "In the event that any crowd disturbances occur during our match against Lugano, our fans will not be permitted to be in the away section for our next away European cup match."

The statement from Beşiktaş is as follows:

"UEFA had previously imposed a penalty on our club banning ticket sales to our fans for our away European cup matches due to crowd disturbances that occurred during our away match against KF Tirana in the UEFA Conference League qualifying round last season. Following our efforts, the aforementioned penalty was later converted into a probationary period until August 8, 2025.

In the event that any crowd disturbances occur during our match against Lugano, our fans will not be permitted to be in the away section for our next away European cup match.

In order to prevent our club from suffering financial and moral damages and to ensure our fans can continue to be in the stands for our future matches, we kindly request that our fans who will be watching the Lugano match from the stands support only our team from the first whistle to the last."
