Beşiktaş, which was defeated 1-0 by Galatasaray at Vodafone Park in the 25th week of the Süper Lig, made significant demands of the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) in a written statement released after the match. The black-and-white club requested answers to various questions regarding the VAR center in Riva and officially demanded that the camera recordings from during the match be shared.

Examining the events of the derby match closely, the Beşiktaş management stated in its communication to the TFF that they are awaiting answers to questions such as who was present in the VAR center and whether there were cameras recording audio in the VAR room and the corridor where the room is located. Additionally, information was requested regarding the presence of Portuguese VAR instructors in the room during the match and their influence on decision-making processes.

The statement released by the club included the following remarks:

"We urgently demand that the Turkish Football Federation provide answers to our questions below regarding what transpired at the VAR center in Riva during our match against Galatasaray in the Trendyol Süper Lig.

Who is present in and around the VAR center, and are there any camera(s) that record audio in the VAR room and the corridor where the room is located?

Are the Portuguese VAR instructors present in the VAR room during the match? If they are in the VAR room, are they involved in the decision-making processes?

Do the Portuguese instructors, who are said to be serving under the title of instructor, have any official duties within the federation that require them to be there during the match?

Are there any person or persons in the VAR center or its corridor who should not be there while the match is being played?

It is essential that the Turkish Football Federation management, which took office with a promise of transparent and fair administration, answers our questions immediately.

As Beşiktaş JK, we demand that the camera recordings of the VAR room and the corridor where the room is located for the match we played against Galatasaray be shared with us, and we present this request to the attention of the public, primarily the Turkish Football Federation."
