Beşiktaş loses a derby at its new stadium for the first time

Beşiktaş, which was defeated 3-1 at home by Fenerbahçe in the 15th week of the Süper Lig, has lost a league derby for the first time since its stadium was renovated.

Beşiktaş, which had not been defeated by either Fenerbahçe or Galatasaray since the 2015-16 season when its stadium was built, saw this streak come to an end following the 3-1 defeat.

Beşiktaş's only home derby victory was a 1-0 result against Fenerbahçe in a Turkish Cup match played during the 2016-17 season.
