In the statement made by the black-and-white club regarding the change in captaincy, it was stated, "By the decision of our President Serdal Adalı and our board of directors, a change has been made regarding the captaincy of our Football A Team.
With the view of our technical staff that players who play in positions where they can be more effective on the field should be appointed as captains, and by the decision of our board of directors, Orkun Kökçü has been appointed as the first captain and Wilfred Ndidi as the second captain of our Football A Team.
