The Turkish Airlines flight TK1876, scheduled to depart from Milan Malpensa to Istanbul Airport carrying midfielder Kristjan Asllani, whom Beşiktaş plans to add to its squad, could not take off due to a technical issue. The journey of the young footballer, who was expected to be in Istanbul during the night, has been cancelled.

In a brief statement regarding the matter, the black-and-white club stated, "The Milan Malpensa-Istanbul Airport flight TK1876 carrying Kristjan Asllani has been cancelled due to a technical failure. Further information regarding the arrival plan will be shared once the schedule is clarified."

It is reported that transfer negotiations have concluded positively, and Asllani will wear the Beşiktaş jersey until the end of the season. According to the agreement, while the player's registration remains with Inter, a historic club in Serie A, Beşiktaş will cover the player's entire salary without paying a loan fee for the transfer.

The 21-year-old Albanian footballer, who spent last season on loan at Torino, did not contribute any goals or assists in the 16 matches he played there.
