Süper Lig representative Beşiktaş continues its transfer efforts without slowing down. Most recently playing for the Belgian team Genk, 24-year-old center-forward Hyeon-gyu Oh has arrived in Istanbul as part of the ongoing transfer process.

Landing at Istanbul Airport during the night, Oh was welcomed by Beşiktaş club officials. The South Korean footballer is expected to sign a contract with the Black and Whites once the transfer procedures are completed. It was also learned that the player will undergo medical examinations before the final steps.

In a statement made to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP), Beşiktaş stated, "Negotiations have begun with professional footballer Hyeon-gyu Oh and his club Genk regarding his transfer."

Appearing in a total of 32 official matches for Genk last season, Hyeon-gyu Oh managed to find the back of the net 10 times. It is reported that Beşiktaş hopes to make the transfer official shortly and that the technical staff believes Oh will make a significant contribution to the team.
