Süper Lig side Beşiktaş has announced that it has parted ways with head coach Fernando Santos.
The statement released by the black-and-white club included the following remarks:
"We have parted ways with head coach Fernando Santos. We thank Santos for his services and wish him success in his future endeavors.
Serdar Topraktepe will serve as the technical manager of our Football A Team until the end of the season."
"I AM NOT CONSIDERING RESIGNING"
Beşiktaş head coach Fernando Santos had stated the following in his remarks after the 1-1 draw against Samsunspor: "I am not considering resigning.
I trust the work I do. I know what I have done.
Therefore, I have no thoughts of resignation. I came here to work," he had said.
