Beşiktaş plays its first match under new head coach Fernando Santos

The Beşiktaş-Fatih Karagümrük match in the 20th week of the Süper Lig will be played today at Tüpraş Stadium. The match will start at 19:00 and will be broadcast on beIN Sports.

Portuguese head coach Fernando Santos, appointed by Beşiktaş President Hasan Arat, will take the field at the helm of the black-and-white team for the first time today.

Santos, who will be introduced to Beşiktaş fans at Tüpraş Stadium, will be the 5th head coach to serve on the bench this season, following Şenol Güneş, Burak Yılmaz, Rıza Çalımbay, and Serdar Topraktepe.

At the same time, Jonas Svensson, who was added to the squad during the mid-season transfer window, will also take the field in a Beşiktaş jersey for the first time if assigned by head coach Santos. With these changes, Beşiktaş plans to make innovations in its coaching staff and player roster.

5 MISSING PLAYERS AT BEŞİKTAŞ

Alex-Oxlade Chamberlain will not be in the squad as he has closed the season.

Omar Colley and Daniel Amartey will not be in the squad as they are at their national team camps due to the Africa Cup of Nations.

Vincent Aboubakar will not be in the squad as he has been excluded from the team and called up to his country's national team.

The status of Valentin Rosier has not yet been clarified.

Salih Uçan, who could not serve in the away match against Çaykur Rizespor due to a yellow card suspension, has completed his suspension. The experienced player will serve in today's match if head coach Santos gives him the jersey.
