Beşiktaş reaches agreement with Rafa Silva

Beşiktaş has accelerated its transfer efforts following the signing of Gabriel Paulista.

The Black and Whites have also neared the end of the transfer process for Rafa Silva, who left the Portuguese club after his contract with Benfica expired. According to a report by Sercan Dikme, a 3-year agreement has been reached with Rafa Silva during negotiations led by Beşiktaş Second President Hüseyin Yücel.

Despite receiving other offers from Turkey, the Portuguese footballer believed in the Beşiktaş project. Rafa Silva is expected to arrive in Istanbul for Beşiktaş.

Rafa Silva, who played in 52 matches for Benfica last season, scored 22 goals and provided 15 assists.

According to a report by the Portuguese press outlet Ojogo, the Black and Whites offered Rafa Silva, who is a free agent after his contract with Benfica expired, an annual salary of 6 million Euros and a 10 million Euro signing bonus. They proposed a 3-year contract to the 31-year-old player.

The report stated that Beşiktaş has made an intense effort to add the Portuguese star to its squad and that Second President Hüseyin Yücel, who is conducting the negotiations, is prepared to cover a portion of the cost of this transfer out of his own pocket.
