Beşiktaş has provided an update on the health status of Emirhan Topçu, who sustained an injury during the Süper Lig match against Kasımpaşa.
In the statement released by the club, it was noted that the young footballer has a strain and edema in his upper thigh muscle (rectus femoris). Due to this injury, Emirhan will be unable to play in the Başakşehir match.
Beşiktaş's statement included the following: 'Our player Emirhan Topçu was unable to continue the match against Kasımpaşa after feeling pain in his upper thigh region in the 17th minute. Following evaluations and an MRI scan performed at Acıbadem Altunizade Hospital, a strain and edema were detected in his upper thigh muscle. Treatment for Emirhan Topçu has been initiated by our medical team.'
