Beşiktaş Club has issued an official denial regarding reports of squad exclusions that surfaced ahead of the derby against Galatasaray in the Süper Lig following the international break. The Black and White club announced that the claims appearing in print and visual media do not reflect the truth.
"REPORTS ARE FABRICATED AT A DESK"
In its official statement, Beşiktaş emphasized that reports suggesting certain players would be excluded from the squad and that the club would part ways with many players at the end of the season are baseless.
The statement included the following:
"Reports published in print and visual media, as well as on social media, claiming that many of our players will be excluded from the squad and that we will part ways with many of them at the end of the season are completely baseless. We find the reports, which were fabricated at a desk and circulated ahead of our matches against Galatasaray in the Trendyol Süper Lig and Göztepe in the Ziraat Turkish Cup quarterfinals, to be suspicious, and we kindly ask our fans and the public not to give credence to such news."
