Beşiktaş secures first EuroLeague win in 13 years

In the match played in Serbia, Beşiktaş defeated Israeli side Maccabi Tel Aviv 109-93 in the second week of the EuroLeague, securing its first win in the competition since returning after 13 years.

Brown and Wilbekin played leading roles in the victory, each scoring 20 points for the black-and-whites. Dotson contributed to the win with 17 points.

Beşiktaş, which previously competed in the EuroLeague only during the 2012-2013 season, surpassed the 100-point mark for the first time in its second appearance in the tournament.

The black-and-whites achieved their first victory against the Israeli representative in their third meeting in the European League.

Having returned to the European League after 13 seasons and losing 96-94 to Spain's Valencia Basket in the first week, Beşiktaş secured its first win in its second match.

Maccabi, meanwhile, left the court with a defeat in its second match as well.
