‘Excellence Award’ for Beşiktaş star Immobile
Beşiktaş's Italian striker Ciro Immobile and A National Women's Volleyball Team Head Coach Daniele Santarelli have been deemed worthy of the "Excellence Award" at the International Mediterranean Excellence Awards ceremony.

In addition to Ciro Immobile and Daniele Santarelli, Turkish Volleyball Federation President Mehmet Akif Üstündağ and Beşiktaş Club Second President Hüseyin Yücel have also been deemed worthy of awards at the ceremony, which will hold its second edition on October 21 at the Valentini Palace in Rome, the capital of Italy.
The ceremony, held as part of a project by the Mediterranean Journalists Association, rewards individuals who make a difference on an international scale and contribute to peace, friendship, culture, art, and sports.
A National Football Team Head Coach Vincenzo Montella also received an award at the first edition of the ceremony, which was held last year with the contributions of the Italian Sports Writers Association (USSI) and the International Sports Press Association (AIPS).
