Beşiktaş has made a flawless start to the 2026-2027 season in official matches. The Black and Whites defeated Eyüpspor 1-0 in the first week of the Süper Lig at Tüpraş Stadium, marking their fifth consecutive victory in as many official matches this season.

The only goal of the match came in the 25th minute from Vaclav Cerny. Capitalizing on a pass sent behind the defense by Olaitan, the Czech player put Beşiktaş ahead with his strike. Cerny also came close to scoring from a free kick in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the post and returned to play.

Beşiktaş faced Eyüpspor at Tüpraş Stadium in the first week of the Süper Lig.

Cerny, who has been the target of criticism recently, has celebrated goals in two consecutive official matches. Having found the net against Çaykur Rizespor last season, the player also scored the goal that secured Beşiktaş's qualification in the UEFA Europa League second-leg match against Hradec Kralove this season. Cerny, who was replaced by Milot Rashica in the 88th minute of the Eyüpspor match, received applause from the stands as he left the pitch.
