WHAT ARE THE STADIUM CRITERIA?

According to the criteria set by UEFA, bidding countries must propose a total of 10 stadiums with specified capacities. Additionally, only 2 stadiums are permitted per city.

UEFA's stadium criteria are as follows:

1 stadium with a minimum net seating capacity of 60,000

1, preferably 2, stadiums with a minimum net seating capacity of 50,000

4 stadiums with a minimum net seating capacity of 40,000

3 stadiums with a minimum net seating capacity of 30,000

According to a report by Ajansspor, Turkey submitted its bid for hosting EURO 2032 with 10 stadiums across 8 cities.

Rams Park Stadium (52,000 capacity)

Fenerbahçe Ülker Stadium (50,530 capacity)

New Ankara 19 Mayıs Stadium (45,000 capacity)

Bursa Metropolitan Stadium (43,361 capacity)

Trabzon Şenol Güneş Sports Complex (40,782 capacity)

OPENING AND FINAL MATCHES NOT YET DECIDED

UEFA Executive Committee Member Servet Yardımcı made evaluations regarding the matter. Yardımcı stated the following:

"It is a historic day. I am happy. I wish success to the TFF and the colleagues who will take part in the organization. All criteria were met. They were submitted to UEFA. Presentations that met all the criteria were made. This was accepted by UEFA. The files were accepted because they met expectations. It was accepted by the decision of the executive committee without a vote. We need 3 years. Matches will already be played in 5 stadiums and 5 cities each. These need to be completed within the next 3 years. A decision has not yet been made for the opening and final matches. Everything is on track; our country will host it beautifully with its infrastructure, experience, stadiums, and all kinds of organizational capabilities. It will be very beautiful."
