Beşiktaş wins the Ziraat Turkish Cup!

Beşiktaş defeated Trabzonspor 3-2 in the Ziraat Turkish Cup final to claim the trophy.

Beşiktaş and Trabzonspor faced off in the Ziraat Turkish Cup final. In a challenging match played to a sold-out crowd at the Atatürk Olympic Stadium, Beşiktaş managed to win 3-2 despite falling behind 1-0.

The goals that secured the victory for Beşiktaş were scored by Rachid Ghezzal from a penalty in the 45+3rd minute, Salih Uçan in the 54th minute, and Ali Al-Musrati in the 90+4th minute.

Trabzonspor's goals came from Paul Onuachu in the 14th minute and Nicolas Pepe in the 89th minute.

Following this result, Beşiktaş took the Turkish Cup to its trophy cabinet for the 11th time and earned the right to represent our country in the UEFA Europa League (starting from the play-off round) next season.

The black-and-white team managed to take the cup to its cabinet in the difficult 2023-2024 season, following their titles in the 1974-1975, 1988-1989, 1989-1990, 1993-1994, 1997-1998, 2005-2006, 2006-2007, 2008-2009, 2010-2011, and 2020-2021 seasons.

Beşiktaş lost the cup to its opponents in the finals of the 1965-1966, 1976-1977, 1983-1984, 1992-1993, 1998-1999, and 2001-2002 seasons.
