22 referees and 27 footballers referred to PFDK in betting scandal! Names announced...
The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) has referred a total of 22 more individuals, including 2 top-class referees, to the Professional Football Discipline Committee (PFDK) as part of a comprehensive investigation. Meanwhile, it was announced that 27 more footballers have also been referred to the PFDK.

As the Turkish Football Federation's work regarding the betting investigation continues, 22 more referees have been referred to the PFDK in line with new documents added to the file.
SCOPE OF THE INVESTIGATION EXPANDS
In a process where 152 referees had previously been included in the file, the number of referred referees has increased with new findings. It is stated that the federation is deepening the investigation and evaluating new evidence.
The statement made by the TFF is as follows:
1- It has been decided to refer Class Assistant Referee AHMET KARAATAY to the PFDK with precautionary measures as of 09.12.2025, in accordance with Article 57 of the Football Disciplinary Instructions, due to "betting" on football matches.
2- It has been decided to refer Class Assistant Referee BARIŞ SUN to the PFDK with precautionary measures as of 09.12.2025, in accordance with Article 57 of the Football Disciplinary Instructions, due to "betting" on football matches.
3- It has been decided to refer Class Referee BEDİRHAN YİĞİTBAŞ to the PFDK with precautionary measures as of 09.12.2025, in accordance with Article 57 of the Football Disciplinary Instructions, due to "betting" on football matches.

27 MORE FOOTBALLERS AT THE PFDK
In the large-scale betting investigation conducted by the Turkish Football Federation in professional leagues, 27 more names have been sent to the PFDK with precautionary measures, following the 1024 footballers previously referred. For the 20 footballers whose investigations are ongoing, the response from the prosecutor's office is awaited.
The statement made by the TFF is as follows:
"Within the scope of the betting investigation conducted by the Turkish Football Federation for professional leagues, in addition to the 1024 footballers referred to the PFDK on 10.11.2025, it has been decided to refer the following 27 footballers, whose investigations have been completed out of the 47 footballers who were seen to have only a single betting activity and whose examinations are ongoing, to the PFDK with precautionary measures as of 09.12.2025, in accordance with Article 57 of the Football Disciplinary Instructions.
The response to the letter written to the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding the 20 footballers whose investigations are ongoing is awaited, and the disciplinary referral process will be completed in line with the incoming responses.
