Breaking News: Aziz Yıldırım officially a candidate for Fenerbahçe presidency! He calls on Hakan Safi and Barış Göktürk

Aziz Yıldırım has announced that he will be a candidate for the presidency of Fenerbahçe.

Making a call to other presidential candidates Barış Göktürk and Hakan Safi, Yıldırım stated the following in his announcement:

"I have a conscientious responsibility toward the Fenerbahçe fans who have been my companions in difficult times, as they have always been. Because I am concerned about the future of my beloved Fenerbahçe, I am heeding the call coming from you, and I would like to make a call to the presidential candidates who have emerged so far and those who are likely to emerge in the future, saying: I am a candidate for the Presidency of Fenerbahçe Sports Club for an epic 120th year where we will show that the Fenerbahçe community is one and together. I invite all candidates, especially Mr. Barış Göktürk and Mr. Hakan Safi, to join me. The Fenerbahçe community can only emerge from this chaotic environment by strengthening unity and solidarity. If experience and youth act together at Fenerbahçe, no one can stand in Fenerbahçe's way. Let us be one, let us be together, and let us carry our Fenerbahçe to beautiful tomorrows all together."

Stating that he has dedicated a significant part of his life to Fenerbahçe, Yıldırım used the following expressions: "During the period when I and my friends were in office, we implemented important reforms at Fenerbahçe Sports Club. With the facilities we built and the companies we established, we succeeded in supporting sustainable sporting success with a strong financial structure in the period before July 3. In 2024, I heeded the call from you and became a candidate for the Fenerbahçe presidency in order to manage Fenerbahçe better at that time. In 2025, I tried to pave the way for new names with the motto 'The youth should take over the duty.' In these days when there is an election on Fenerbahçe's agenda and a longing for a championship in the hearts of Fenerbahçe fans, we are passing through a critical threshold in economic and sporting terms."
