The following statement was made by the TFF:
"The 2023 Turkcell Super Cup match will be played between the 2022-2023 Super Lig Champion Galatasaray A.Ş. and the 2022-2023 Ziraat Turkish Cup Champion Fenerbahçe A.Ş. on Sunday, April 7, 2024, at 21:00 at the Şanlıurfa 11 Nisan Stadium."
WHAT HAD HAPPENED?
The Super Cup match, which was planned to be played on December 29 in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, did not take place due to disagreements between Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray and Saudi authorities regarding issues such as Atatürk banners and the National Anthem, and both teams returned to the country without taking the field.
