Saran announced that an Extraordinary Elective General Assembly will be held on June 6-7.

The full statement made by Fenerbahçe President Saran is as follows:

"To every member of our Fenerbahçe,

To our community whose heart beats for this crest,

Today, I am addressing you not just as a president, but as a child of this community.

On the day we aspired to this duty, we set out saying, 'Neither patience nor time.' Because we knew that this community did not need to wait anymore, but to stand up. Even though the election took place at an inconvenient time, we did not hesitate for a moment to take responsibility. We did not run away from responsibility; we did not hold back. We were there that day to show that it is possible to be together again, to believe again, and to succeed again.

When we took office, we were faced with a picture where the hope for a championship was fading; despite this, I and my colleagues worked day and night to end the long-standing championship longing and to carry our Fenerbahçe to the place it deserves.

During this process, we took special care not to hurt anyone, not to use a language that would divide our community, and not to create an environment of conflict. We neither hid behind excuses nor were we afraid of difficulties. Our only focus was the success of our club.

I, upon the promise I made, entered the presidential race at a time when everyone else was holding back. Again, I am appearing before my community today upon the promise I made. As you all know well, the off-field developments and the conditions that arose at the very beginning of our term did not make it possible for us to make a different assessment at that time.

Just as we did not run away from responsibility that day, we stand behind our promise today.

Throughout the season, we consciously postponed some decisions so as not to harm our championship race. However, at the point reached, it is clear that it would not be right to delay this process any further.

Therefore, in line with the promise we made to our community, I present to the information of our community that our Extraordinary Elective General Assembly will be held on June 6-7.

I made this decision to pave the way for our Fenerbahçe and to allow for a new page to be turned before our community.

From the first day we took office, we served in an environment where doors were not opened equally and conditions were not the same for everyone. Despite this, we did not lose our focus for a single day.

What I wished for in my heart was to complete this duty by giving our community the happiness of a championship. We put everything on the line for our goals, but as of today, we are not at the point we wanted. My belief in the struggle and intention we have put forward in this process is complete.

It was not easy for me to make this decision. However, this seat is not carried by personal preferences, but by the responsibility of making the right decisions at the right time.

Today, I would like to express very clearly that: Fighting for this seat and turning this office into a matter of ambition has no benefit to Fenerbahçe.

What is essential is Fenerbahçe.

It is a virtue to be able to leave this seat when the time comes, just as it is to come to it. Especially to be able to do this not with resentment, not with ambition; but with the responsibility of paving the way for the community, thinking about the future of our Fenerbahçe... That is the real issue.

There is only one truth that applies to everyone who has served in the past, who is in office today, or who will take on this responsibility tomorrow: This club belongs to none of us, it belongs to all of us.

Fenerbahçe should never remain in the shadow of individuals.

To everyone who will aspire to this responsibility from now on, as someone who has walked this path, I would like to say this:

The Fenerbahçe presidency is not a field where every path can be seen as legitimate to win.

This office is not a place where you can rise by pulling someone else down.

What is essential here is to be able to exist not by diminishing each other, but by growing Fenerbahçe.

Serving this club gains meaning not only by struggling, but also by how that struggle is waged.

The true weight of this seat is understood not when you sit down, but when you get up.

Serving Fenerbahçe sometimes requires knowing not only how to stay, but also when to step aside. Because this crest is not a place to carry any of our ambitions; it is a trust that carries the responsibility of all of us.

As for our fans, rather than expressing an expectation, I would like to make a reminder:

Today and tomorrow, what will make us strong is our will to unite around Fenerbahçe, whoever it may be.

It is clear what the mindsets that talk behind backs, consume the club's energy with internal disputes, and act with personal calculations have cost our Fenerbahçe in this community.

My colleagues and I will continue to be a part of a stance that stands by our club and carries it forward even after we hand over this duty.

Because we know what befits this club and we will act accordingly: taking responsibility, stepping back when necessary, and moving forward with nobility under all circumstances.
