BREAKING NEWS: Istanbulspor's penalty announced!

The PFDK has decided that Istanbulspor, which withdrew from the field during the Trabzonspor match, will be considered to have lost 3-0 by default and will have 3 points deducted.

THE STATEMENT FROM THE PFDK IS AS FOLLOWS:

"It has been decided that ISTANBULSPOR A.Ş. shall be considered to have LOST BY DEFAULT (0-3) and shall be punished with a (3) POINT DEDUCTION in accordance with Articles 24/1-a and 23/4 of the Football Competition Instruction due to the abandonment of the match that had already commenced during the ISTANBULSPOR A.Ş. - TRABZONSPOR A.Ş. Trendyol Super League match played on 19.12.2023,

In the same match, ISTANBULSPOR A.Ş. shall be punished with a WARNING for non-compliance with instructions due to the failure to operate the accreditation system,

In the same match, due to the ugly and bad chants caused by the fans of ISTANBULSPOR A.Ş., in accordance with Article 53/3 of the FDT, the electronic tickets of the spectators located in the WEST STAND F block who engaged in ugly and bad chanting shall be blocked, preventing their entry to the next match in which the club is the host,

In the same match, ISTANBULSPOR A.Ş. President ECMEL FAİK SARIALİOĞLU shall be punished with a 90-DAY BAN FROM RIGHTS and a FINE of 780,000 TL due to his action contrary to the accreditation instruction and his unsportsmanlike conduct by withdrawing the team from the match that had already commenced,

In the same match, ISTANBULSPOR A.Ş. administrator MUHAMMET METE shall be punished with a WARNING for non-compliance with instructions due to being in the T area where he was not accredited during the match,
