Breaking News... PFDK announces penalties for betting investigation!

The Professional Football Discipline Committee (PFDK) has announced the penalties for the football players referred to the PFDK on the grounds of betting. Galatasaray player Eren Elmalı was given a 45-day ban, and Metehan Baltacı was given a 9-month ban from participating in football-related activities.

Here is the statement made by the PFDK;

"The decisions taken by our Committee regarding the Super League and 1st League athletes referred to our Committee in accordance with Article 57 of the Football Disciplinary Instructions (FDT) at the meeting of the Professional Football Discipline Committee dated 13.11.2025 and numbered 27 are stated below.

1- IZZET ÇELİK shall be punished with a 3-MONTH BAN from participating in football-related activities in accordance with Article 57/2 of the FDT due to betting activities,

2- ENES KESKİN shall be punished with a 3-MONTH BAN from participating in football-related activities in accordance with Article 57/2 of the FDT due to betting activities,

3- YUSUF ÖZDEMİR shall be punished with a 9-MONTH BAN from participating in football-related activities in accordance with Article 57/2 of the FDT due to betting activities,

4- BEDİRHAN ÖZYURT shall be punished with a 3-MONTH BAN from participating in football-related activities in accordance with Article 57/2 of the FDT due to betting activities,

5- EFE DOĞAN shall be punished with a 45-DAY BAN from participating in football-related activities, by discretion and as a result, in accordance with Article 57/2 of the FDT and by applying Article 13 of the FDT due to betting activities,

6- FURKAN ORAK shall be punished with a 3-MONTH BAN from participating in football-related activities in accordance with Article 57/2 of the FDT due to betting activities,

7- Metehan Baltacı shall be punished with a 9-MONTH BAN from participating in football-related activities in accordance with Article 57/2 of the FDT due to betting activities,
