"It was a match that the spectators enjoyed, with a high tempo and plenty of chances. I can easily say this: Fenerbahçe has a squad capable of winning the Conference League trophy today, yet they were unfortunately eliminated. With the syndromes and setbacks they experienced throughout the season, our match carried even more importance. As for us, the points we would earn in these matches would take us to much better places in our quest to qualify for the UEFA Cup. We beat Beşiktaş. We beat Trabzonspor. We drew with Galatasaray. Today, even though we gave away chances against Fenerbahçe, we also created our own. I congratulate our players."
