Burak Kızılhan: 'We didn't complain about the pitch, we played like men'

Fenerbahçe General Secretary Burak Kızılhan made statements following the 3-1 victory against Rizespor.

"WE WENT OUT AND PLAYED LIKE MEN"

Addressing the poor pitch conditions during the match, Kızılhan said, "We have added a very important 3 points to our tally. The rain did not stop for 90 minutes, the fans did not stay silent. Our team put up a serious fight. We saw the field conditions. I want to say something about stadium pitches. It is as clear as day how bad the pitches in Turkey are. This is the only thing being talked about lately. We knew that Rizespor's pitch was very bad. The rain poured down, and the pitch became even heavier. We never made this a bargaining chip like other teams, we didn't bring it to the agenda; we went out, fought like men, and took the 3 points. There are 12-13 weeks left from here on. Every week will be a final. We will closely follow the TFF's decisions, especially regarding stadiums. There cannot be a worse pitch than this. Every team will go out and play just as we did. It is that simple. We all watched it together this evening."

"WE NEED TO GET RID OF ARDA KARDEŞLER"

Criticizing the referee's performance, Kızılhan said, "Most of the decisions made by the referee were in favor of the opposing team. The cards given or not given, red cards, foul positions, were entirely in favor of the opposing team. Before the goal, Tadic's shoulder was clearly stepped on. There was no reaction. The move on Szymanski was a red card. It is unacceptable. What Arda Kardeşler has done against Fenerbahçe is very clear. It is very obvious that Turkish football needs to get rid of Arda Kardeşler and similar referees."
