Başakşehir manager Çağdaş Atan evaluated the 1-1 draw against Trabzonspor.
Beginning his remarks with the news of the martyrs, Çağdaş Atan said, "I wish God's mercy upon our martyrs. I wish a speedy recovery to our wounded. Let us not forget our heroes who gave their lives for this homeland."
Regarding the match, Atan stated, "As for the match, it was a game with two different stories in the first and second halves. We planned the pressure incorrectly in the first half. We gave the ball to the opponent more than necessary in the first half. In the second half, we switched to man-to-man marking, found one-on-one situations, and applied good pressure. We forced Uğurcan to play long balls. It became the game we imagined. There was a difficult game on the pitch. I congratulate my players. I think the game came to us in the second half. Scoring a goal and finding the positions we worked on made us happy. We could have lost in a scramble in the last minute, but I think a draw was the fair result of the match. We continue to improve. We will continue by getting stronger during the winter break. I am proud of my players. It might have been a bit late, but it took some time to fix the psychology of the situation we were in and to establish our game. Our management and our president supported us during this process. I believe that by strengthening during the winter break, we will put up a different fight in the second half."
