The Cedric Enard era begins for the A-National Men's Volleyball Team

The new head coach of the A-National Men's Volleyball Team is Cedric Enard. The ceremony held at the Burhan Felek Volleyball Hall was attended by Enard, as well as Turkish Volleyball Federation (TVF) President Mehmet Akif Üstündağ, the new manager of the A-National Men's Volleyball Team Orkun Özel, and members of the press. A 1+2 year agreement was reached with Cedric Enard.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, TVF President Mehmet Akif Üstündağ stated, “You know where Turkish volleyball has come from and where it is now. Historic successes were achieved this year. But our goals and expectations are high. Beyond our dreams and goals, we naturally have excitement as well. In women's volleyball, we have achieved successes that no one else in the world has been granted. In men's volleyball, we qualified to play in the Olympic qualifiers. Our A-National Men's Volleyball Team's new head coach, Cedric Enard, was most recently in charge of the Croatian National Team. Before that, he served at the German team Berlin. We have reached a total 3-year agreement with him, consisting of 1+2 years. During this process, his contract with Croatia was still ongoing. I would like to thank them for their understanding and for providing convenience. Along with our new coach, Orkun Özel will serve as the team manager. I hope these new signatures will be beneficial. Our goal is big. Our women have earned the right to participate in the Olympics. But our men could not make it out of the qualifiers. However, our chance continues. We have a chance to participate in the Olympics based on the position we will take in the world rankings. I believe. I think we have the team and the players to achieve this.”

Expressing his happiness to be in Turkey, Head Coach Cedric Enard said, “I am proud to be here. It will be a new challenge for me. I am aware of how far Turkish volleyball has come. I think we will march toward success for this team. Of course, everyone wants to be a champion. We want that too. We will work very hard and put in the effort to become champions.”
