The footage of Cenk Tosun walking behind TFF President Mehmet Büyükekşi without shaking his hand in front of the cameras after the Netherlands match at EURO 2024 had become a major topic of discussion.
Speaking to Ekol TV, Cenk Tosun explained the reason for that footage.
Tosun said the following:
"It was not something intentional. I had had a conversation with the President a minute before that. I walked behind him a minute later, not to avoid shaking his hand; I would never show such disrespect."
'I WOULD LIKE TO STAY AT BEŞİKTAŞ'
Evaluating the transfer statements regarding himself, Cenk Tosun noted the following:
"I enjoyed the tournament, now I will enjoy my vacation with my family, and then I will make my decision. As you know, I am a free agent; I would like to stay at Beşiktaş, but first I will go on vacation with my family."
