It is reported that Buruk and his staff are meticulously continuing their preparations to eliminate the possibility of a similar poor start this time around.

It was stated that Buruk, who met with his players during training in Kemerburgaz, drew attention to the difficulty of the fixture but expressed his confidence in his team. The experienced manager reportedly said, "We have a difficult fixture, but we are also a good team. Every point and every goal is very important. A good result in the Sporting away match will be a morale booster for our European goal."

The official pre-match press conference for Galatasaray will be held tomorrow at 20:30 at the Jose Alvalade Stadium. A player from the yellow-red team will join Okan Buruk at the conference.

The Sporting vs. Galatasaray match will be played on Wednesday, September 9, in the first week of the Champions League league phase. The match, which will start at 22:00, will be broadcast live on TRT 1.
