In Fenerbahçe, which rose to the top of the Süper Lig with a game in hand after defeating Hatayspor 2-0 away in the 28th week, manager İsmail Kartal made a statement on his social media account.
The 62-year-old manager used the phrase, "The path we are walking is the path to the championship" in his post.
Fenerbahçe is currently in the lead with 73 points, 1 point ahead of their title rival Galatasaray, who has played one fewer game. Galatasaray will be the guest of their arch-rival Beşiktaş away this evening.
