There has been a change in the preliminary squad of the National Team, which will face Wales in its first match in UEFA Nations League B Group 4.

According to the statement made by the TFF, it was announced that Semih Kılıçsoy, who joined the camp with a complaint of strain in his left groin, was removed from the preliminary squad as he would not be able to fully recover during the Wales and Iceland matches.

Additionally, it was noted that another player wearing the Beşiktaş jersey, Mustafa Erhan Hekimoğlu, has been transferred to the preliminary squad of the U21 National Team, which will face Ireland and San Marino in the UEFA European U21 Championship Qualifiers.

The statement made by the TFF is as follows:

"A change has been made to the preliminary squad of our National Team, which will begin its campaign in UEFA Nations League B Group 4 with an away match against Wales on September 6.

The examinations and tests conducted as part of the ongoing treatment of Semih Kılıçsoy, who joined the National Team camp with a complaint of strain in his left groin, have been completed. Since it was determined that Semih's injury would not fully heal during our National Team's matches against Wales and Iceland, it was deemed appropriate for our player to be removed from the preliminary squad and continue his treatment at his club.

Additionally, Mustafa Hekimoğlu has transferred to the preliminary squad of our U21 National Team, which will face the Republic of Ireland and San Marino in the UEFA European U21 Championship Qualifiers."
