Congratulatory messages for Beşiktaş's new president Serdal Adalı

Serdal Adalı has become the new president of Beşiktaş! 25 ballot boxes were set up for the election race, which thousands of Black and White supporters followed with excitement. With the opening of the ballot boxes, Adalı's victory was determined according to unofficial results.

Following Adalı's victory, congratulatory messages began to arrive. The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) stated in its announcement, "We congratulate Mr. Serdal Adalı, who was elected president following the extraordinary elective general assembly meeting held today at Beşiktaş Gymnastics Club, and his board of directors, and wish them success during their term."

Minister of Youth and Sports Osman Aşkın Bak used the following expressions in the congratulatory message he published:

"I congratulate Serdal Adalı and the members of the board of directors who were elected to the presidency as a result of the Beşiktaş Club's extraordinary elective general assembly meeting. I wish the president and the board of directors of the Black and White club success in their duties."

THANK YOU MESSAGE FROM ADALI

Adalı, who was elected president at the club's extraordinary general assembly, made a thank-you speech after the last ballot box was opened.

Taking the podium at the Sinan Erdem Sports Hall after the election result was announced, Adalı stated that he was aware of his responsibilities and said, "We are aware of the duty we have taken on and the responsibility upon us. Hopefully, we will carry Beşiktaş to better days together. First, we will bring this great community back together. A new era is now beginning for our Beşiktaş. I want to see the support of the entire great Beşiktaş community with us. This is the only way Beşiktaş will reach the days it deserves. Beşiktaş supporters should rest easy. The winner has been Beşiktaş," he assessed.

Thanking his family and his rival Hüseyin Yücel, Adalı said the following:

"First of all, I would like to thank my family, my wife, who is my greatest supporter in life and who has been through so much because of me—with whom we will celebrate our 40th anniversary in 2 days—and who has never withheld her support from me for a single day, and my children who have always supported me regarding Beşiktaş. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking ownership of Beşiktaş, voting with record participation, and giving us this pride.

From here, I also congratulate Mr. Hüseyin Yücel for the struggle he put up, and I thank his dear wife and family along with him. I offer my most sincere thanks to all our fans from 7 to 70 and the entire Beşiktaş community. I also thank all my friends who have walked the path with me for the last 15 years of my life at Beşiktaş. I would also like to extend a very special thank you to my brother Tayfur Havutçu and my brother Ahmet Ateş, who were in prison with me due to the conspiracy organized by the treacherous terrorist organization on July 3, 2011, and to their families. I would also like to thank the Jockey Club of Turkey and the horse racing community for their understanding."
