Congratulatory phone call from Erdoğan to Galatasaray
AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan called Galatasaray to congratulate them after they eliminated Juventus to advance to the UEFA Champions League Round of 16.

Galatasaray advanced to the next round after losing 3-2 in extra time to Juventus in the second leg of the UEFA Champions League Round of 16 play-off stage, having won the first leg 5-2.
Following the match, AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan called the yellow-red team to congratulate them. President Erdoğan spoke with the technical staff and players individually to convey his congratulations.
Minister of Youth and Sports Osman Aşkın Bak, who followed the match, also visited the locker room to congratulate Galatasaray.
