Galatasaray visited Sivasspor in the rescheduled match of the 16th week of the Süper Lig. While the critical encounter ended in a 1-1 draw, Galatasaray fell 2 points behind the league leader, Fenerbahçe.
"WE HAD PLAYERS WHO WANTED TO LEAVE BEFORE THE MATCH"
Sivasspor manager Bülent Uygun evaluated the match at the press conference.
Stating that they had analyzed Galatasaray, Uygun said, "We analyzed the opponent. Thinking about that, I explained a system they had never played before to the boys, and they executed it very well. We had some problems in terms of the team. Some of our players wanted to leave the team. I have never seen so much chaos all at once," he said.
"WE ARE HAPPY WITH 1 POINT"
"Even though we left the match with one point, we also found positions where we could have left with 3 points," said Uygun, adding, "Despite having many missing players, we are happy to have taken one point."
"PENALTY-ISH?"
When reminded during the press conference that Galatasaray had penalty appeals in 3 separate positions, Bülent Uygun responded by saying, "3 penalties? When? Penalty-ish?"
WHAT HAD HAPPENED?
